Annual Club Meeting & Open Play

5:00–8:00 PM · Polk County Pickleball · Ankeny

The annual meeting includes a pizza buffet, prizes, Board elections and a membership-fee vote. Open Play follows the meeting and continues until 8:00 PM.

Quorum needed: good attendance is important so the Club can conduct the required voting. The current membership fee is $50 for 2 years and the coming year's fee will be set at the meeting.

You may also register through VCC. The Board meets once a month and is looking for a few new members for 2026–2027.

Friends of West Des Moines Parks & Recreation is holding its annual Fall pickleball tournament. Players can register through West Des Moines Parks & Recreation.

DMMPC is also looking for volunteers to help for a few hours. Volunteer sign-up is available at VCC or through Chuck.

Need a Net?

The Club purchased a few lightly used nets from The Fieldhouse when it stopped supporting pickleball. They are being sold for $50 each while supplies last.

Save Your Broken Pickleballs

The Club is already collecting broken balls for next year's 4th of July parade. Nearly 2,000 were used this year and more are needed for 2027.

Bring broken balls to Chuck or Jeanie at VCC.
